Thanks again for checking out my website. You are obviously interested in our area and trying to find out what Fairfield Glade is all about. I have watched Fairfield Glade grow over the last 31 years. Fairfield Glade is located on the Cumberland Plateau and a short drive from Knoxville, Nashville, and Chattanooga. Fairfield Glade is comprised of 12,500 acres as a planned resort/retirement community. We have 5 golf courses in which you are automatically a member when you purchase property. We have a super tennis facility, which has 4 indoor courts, four outdoor hydro-clay courts and two hard surface courts each at the Dorchester and Druid Hills Country Club. In addition Fairfield Glade has two marinas located on lakes St. George and Dartmoor, along with nine other lakes for boating (no wake) and fishing. The Fairfield Glade Community Club of which you are a member has a new Community Recreation Center opening in May of 2008 and will be the crown jewel of recreational activities at the Glade. The Club also provides a full compliment of other recreational activities from outdoor pools, mini-golf, arts & crafts, bus tours, cards, dances, etc. The Plateau Creative Arts Center has recently opened and provides local artists and craftsmen a facility for our many talented artists. We have a population of approximatley 6000 full and part-time residents.
